The Close Caboo DXgo has a mesh hood. This allows air circulation around baby’s head whilst offering a little extra support, shade and privacy: perfect! When not in use you can remove the hood, or fold it away into its integrated pocket. When stored in the integrated pocket the hood offers additional neck support. This can be a handy for tired children, or whilst breastfeeding in the sling.
Cool and comfy
The mesh inner of the Close Caboo DXgo helps to allow air to circulate around baby. The viscose blend outer layer is excellent for breathability. This carrier works well, temperature wise, all year round.
Tips and tricks with the Close Caboo DXgo
Getting a good fit
The section behind the knees on the Close Caboo DXgo tucks away to offer a better fit for smaller babies. For older children leave this untucked to support further into the knees offering a better fit for longer. As children grow older it becomes less important to have support all the way into the knees. Carriers are safe to use as long as the panel comes to their armpits and they’re supported by the carrier.
I have found this really comfy with my 18kg+ toddler in 3-4 clothes. So I can vouch that it remains a good fit for older children, as well as those moving on from newborn carrying options.
It carrier offers a good fit for both narrower and broad shouldered parents, and the waistband adjusts well to fit both slender and larger parents.
Soft and snuggly
The inner and outer fabrics both have a lovely amount of stretch, and cushyiness. The Close Caboo DXgo molds well around baby and moves with them beautifully. It doesn’t have too much stretch, so heavier babies do not pull away from you. Instead of webbing, it has soft jersey knit fabric on the shoulder straps. This is easy to adjust and a more pleasing aesthetic than the dangling webbing of many buckle carriers. The waistband has a webbing adjust with dual adjust buckles so you can pull in either direction to tighten.
