Connecta Happy Hooters
Why we love it: The Connecta is a firm favourite. I used one with my son for over 6 months - which is a long time for one sling for someone who has over 100 slings to choose from! Connectas have a very simple design, not unlike a mei tai with buckles on the end of the straps. There is no padding anywhere on the sling or straps, which means that it suits a large range of baby and wearer sizes.
The straps can be worn backpack style or crossed over. It reverses to plain brown and you can even rethread the buckles so they are easy to adjust no matter which way round you wear it. It has a flat hood that folds into the carrier itself. It also features a removable chest strap which can also be used around the base of the body of the carrier to make it thinner for smaller babies. Very clever!
Lightweight and easy to fold to store in the car, in a bag or under your pram. We love how easy the Connecta is.
We love Connectas so much, we sell them too!

Find out all about Connecta.
Always check the manufacturerƒ??s instructions, but in general, 100% cotton baby carriers can be washed at temperatures up to 60 degrees centigrade on the delicate cycle. It is best to use a liquid detergent that is free of optical brighteners, bleach or softening agents.
It should be noted that frequent washing is likely to fade the carrier, and so affect its resale value, so we ask that you do not wash our rental slings unless needed.
This is a standard size Connecta, suitable up to around 18 months old. Once your baby is too big for this size, we also offer Todder sized Connectas!

When you are renting a sling for the first time you will get 2 days added on to the end of your rental period to allow for posting so that you hopefully get the full amount of time requested, actually with the sling.
So, if you choose a 2 week rental starting on the 1st of the month, your hire end date will be the 16th (14 days plus 2 days extra)
The sling will be posted to you on the 1st, hopefully arrive (dependent on Royal Mail) the 2nd and you will need to post it on or before the 15th to ensure it arrives with us by the 16th.
If you are extending your hire then no extra days are added, so a 2 week extension means that the sling will be due back 14 days later than originally agreed.
